Temple History & Sacred Lineage
The Sacred Heritage of Asura Karma Resolution & Spiritual Deliverance in Uppala
Ancient Roots of the Sannidhi
Where Malabar Tantric Shastra Meets Tulu Nadu Spiritual Power
The Sacred Geography of Uppala, Kasaragod
Nestled in the lush, spiritual landscape of Uppala in Kasaragod District, Kerala, Shree Kshethra Kalluhithilu Asura Karma Sannidhi stands at the profound cultural and religious crossroad of Sanatana Dharma. Here, the deep mysticism of Kerala's Malabar Tantric rites seamlessly blends with the vibrant Daivaradhane spiritual traditions of coastal Karnataka's Tulu Nadu.
For generations, the consecrated soil of Near Aila Maidan, Kallu Compound has served as a sanctuary for intense spiritual sadhana, where hereditary practitioners unlocked the esoteric scriptures to alleviate severe human afflictions caused by karmic imbalances, unrestrained ego, and spiritual discord.
The temple is revered not merely as an architectural monument, but as an active Chaitanya Kshetra—a living center of cosmic spiritual energy consecrated under strict Agamic and Tantric protocols.
The Tradition of Sri Ramachandra Mantrika
Central to the history of Shree Kshethra Kalluhithilu is the unbroken hereditary lineage of spiritual masters, led by Sri Ramachandra Mantrika. Having inherited sacred knowledge passed down through generations, Sri Ramachandra Mantrika dedicated his life to the esoteric discipline of Asura Kriya and the intense upasana of Goddess Mantrika Bhadrakali.
Through rigorous mantra-japa, homas, and deep meditation, the hereditary lineage established safe, authoritative procedures to protect devotees from the severe consequences of Asuri Sampad—such as insurmountable financial ruination, sudden health curses, chronic domestic conflict, and spiritual bondage.
"The sacred purpose of the Sannidhi is not simply ritual performance, but the profound spiritual deliverance of troubled souls, guiding them back to peace, purity, and Dharma."
Milestones in Our Sacred Journey
From Consecrated Ancestral Hermitage to Recognized Public Pilgrimage Sanctum
Awakening of the Sacred Sannidhi
The sanctum was established by ancestral yogis and mantrikas at Kallu Compound, Uppala. The divine presence of Goddess Mantrika Bhadrakali was invoked along with Mantra Guliga as Kshetra Pala, consecrating a powerful spiritual threshold for the alleviation of Asura Karma and negative planetary influences.
Official Registration of the Family Trust (Regd No. 74/2010)
To safeguard the sacred heritage, provide institutional transparency, and serve society at large, the sanctum was registered under No. 74/2010 at S.R.O. Manjeshwara as Shree Kshethra Kalluhithilu Asura Karma Sannidhi Family Trust (R.).
This formalization ensured the uninterrupted continuation of hereditary rituals, public Annadanam, and structured spiritual guidance under recognized trust governance.
Consecration of Naga Kavu & Supplementary Shrines
With growing devotion, the sacred Naga Kavu (sacred grove) was dedicated for serpent worship, alongside consecrated shrines for Mahalakshmi and Lord Vishnu. This completed the harmonious panchayatana-style synthesis of divine forces protecting the devotees.
A Living Beacon of Karmic Solace
Today, devotees travel from across Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and across India to participate in the sacred Asura Kriya homas, seek divine guidance from the hereditary lineage, partake in Annadanam, and experience profound personal transformations.
