About the Sannidhi
The Sacred Legacy of Transmuting Asura Karma & Restoring Cosmic Dharma
Our Sacred Heritage
An Ancient Sanctuary for Spiritual Deliverance & Dharmic Alignment
Shree Kshethra Kalluhithilu Asura Karma Sannidhi Family Trust (R.) is an esteemed spiritual sanctum located in the sacred land of Uppala, Kasaragod District, Kerala. Officially registered under No. 74/2010 at S.R.O. Manjeshwara, our trust is dedicated to preserving and practicing the sacred science of overcoming and resolving Asura Karma.
In Sanatana Dharma, human suffering and discord frequently originate when actions diverge from cosmic order (Dharma). Driven by the impulses of ego, unrestrained desire, and excessive materialism, human beings accumulate negative karmic impressions that manifest as inner turmoil, family disintegration, and enduring setbacks. Located near Aila Maidan, Kallu Compound, Uppala, the Sannidhi serves as a consecrated haven where seekers can dissolve their karmic burdens and surrender their suffering at the lotus feet of Maa Mahakali.
Every seva, pooja, and homa at the Sannidhi is conducted with pure Vedic devotion, strict spiritual discipline, and sincere compassion to guide souls away from the darkness of Asuri tendencies into the radiant peace of Dharma.
Understanding Asura Karma in Hinduism
The Vedic philosophy of ego, unrestrained desires, and the restoration of cosmic order (Dharma)
In Hindu philosophy, as profoundly expounded in the Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 16: Daivasura Sampad Vibhaga Yoga), human tendencies and actions are categorized into two contrasting paths: Daivi Sampad (divine qualities) and Asuri Sampad (demonic or materialistic propensities).
Asura Karma (or Asuri Karma) refers to actions driven by a "demonic" or materialistic nature, characterized by:
-
✦
Ahamkara (Ego & Arrogance): Believing oneself superior to moral and spiritual laws, indulging in false pride, vanity, and boastfulness.
-
✦
Kama & Lobha (Unrestrained Desire & Boundless Greed): An insatiable craving for material gratification and accumulation, pursued without ethical boundaries.
-
✦
Disregard for Dharma (Cosmic Order): Living without respect for universal truth, moral duty, and spiritual accountability, treating existence as purely materialistic.
-
✦
Krodha & Parushya (Anger & Harshness): Harboring resentment, speaking cruel words, and causing injury to other beings in pursuit of self-interest.
When individuals or families become enmeshed in Asura Karma, the resulting karmic reactions create acute mental distress, broken relationships, and chronic obstacles. At Shree Kshethra Kalluhithilu, Maa Mahakali is worshipped as the supreme cosmic Mother who slays the inner demons — the very personifications of ego, anger, and delusion that plague the human heart. By surrendering one's ego at Her feet, devotees receive the divine grace required to burn away karmic debts, master their desires, and return to the auspicious path of Dharma.
“When the ego is dissolved before the Divine Mother, the burden of Asura Karma is shattered, and the soul is illuminated with the eternal light of Dharma and inner peace.”
